Steps to Sell Your Property
Selling your home can be a complex process, but our team at Connect Real Estate Group is here to guide you every step of the way. Here’s what to expect:
1. Listing Presentation – Setting the Foundation
We meet with you to discuss your home-selling strategy, including pricing, marketing plans, and any necessary preparations.
2. Review Contracts – Making It Official
You’ll sign a contract allowing us to list your property on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Our team will handle all the necessary paperwork.
3. Prepare Your Property – Getting Market-Ready
This step includes making necessary repairs, decluttering, and staging your home to make it more attractive to potential buyers.
4. Market Your Property – Maximum Exposure
We use various marketing channels, including online listings, social media, open houses, and print advertising, to attract buyers.
5. Open House & Showings – Buyer Walkthroughs
Potential buyers will schedule appointments to view your home in person, allowing them to assess its condition and features.
6. Present Offers – Reviewing Buyer Interest
When interested buyers make offers, we present them to you for consideration.
7. Negotiate the Terms – Finalizing the Sale Agreement
Our team negotiates with the buyer to determine the sale price, closing date, and terms. Once both parties agree, the offer is accepted, and the next steps begin.
8. Remove Subjects – Securing the Sale
The buyer may conduct a home inspection to identify any concerns. Once all contingencies (subjects) are met, the conditions are removed, confirming the sale.
9. Completion – Closing the Deal
On the completion date, the sale is finalized, and you receive the funds from the sale of your home.
10. Possession – Handing Over the Keys
Congratulations! On possession day, the buyer officially takes ownership, and you hand over the keys to them or their agent.
